Deep in the Cindrel mountains, young fir cones are carefully foraged from the wild and crafted into this delicious fir cone syrup - a unique and traditional Romanian speciality. Fir cone syrup is a valuable, natural product appreciated not only for its specific, resinous and aromatic taste but also for its therapeutic properties.
Fir cone syrup is known as a natural tonic for soothing coughs, sore throats and colds, whilst strengthening the immune system with its richness in vitamin C and antioxidants. Its distinctive flavour is both herbal and sweet, making it as enjoyable as it is restorative.
Enjoy it by the spoonful, stirred into warm tea, or simply diluted with water for a fragrant, forest-infused drink.
