Plums are one of the most traditional fruit in Romania, found in orchards across the country and celebrated in countless recipes. From homemade țuică (plum brandy) to baked desserts and preserves, plum are a part of everyday life, and plum jam has always been a favourite. Thick, rich and naturally fruity, this jam captures the comforting taste of late summer harvests.

Made with just two ingredients, plums and sugar, absolutely no artificial preservatives or flavourings. The result is a dark, velvety jam with a deep, caramel like sweetness and a gentle tartness  that makes plums so distinctive. Delicious spread on fresh bread, folded into pastries or served with pancakes and dumplings, it's a jar of tradition you'll return to again and again.

Behind the jar is Lădița Verde, a small family producer from the village of Macea in Arad county, where fruits and vegetables are grown with care and turned into preserves. Every jam is made in small batches, preserving the authentic taste of Romanian fruit.
