'Zacusca', the traditional, Romanian vegetable spread is a must have for the pantry and although the nations favourite tends to be the aubergine zacusca this variation with beans, made from an authentic, Transylvanian recipe should not be missed! It's creamy, tasty & fragrant... and perfect for slathering on fresh bread.

Prepared in the traditional way - over a wood fire in a cauldron like pan known as a 'ceaun'. 100% natural and free from additives, it's made with beans, roasted red peppers, onions, tomatoes, oil & seasoning. Made at the end of every summer to preserve the seasons beauty and to enjoy the deliciousness of summer through the winter months.
