Green figs are prized for their unique flavour, a blend of gentle sweetness, with honey and floral notes, and a subtle earthy, nuttiness that sets them apart from the well known purple figs. Slowly cooked into jam, they release their natural perfume and transform into an indulgent, fragrant preserve that feels both rustic and refined.

Made with just two ingredients, green figs and sugar, absolutely no artificial preservatives or flavourings, this jam preserves the authentic taste of the fruits in its purest form. Delicious spread on fresh bread, paired with cheeses or used in pastries and cakes and it you're feeling adventurous try it with a grilled pork chop and you wont be disappointed.

Behind the jar is Lădița Verde, a small family producer from the village of Macea in Arad county, where fruits and vegetables are grown with care and preserved using family recipes. Each batch is made by hand in small quantities, ensuring honest, authentic flavours.
