An authentic Romanian gingerbread known as 'Turtă Dulce' glazed with cinnamon sugar, made with honey and spiced with cloves and cinnamon. They are baked in the traditional way - in a wood fired oven, which gives these light, fluffy biscuits that special taste! Turtă Dulce are a childhood favourite in Romania and famously made in the Harghita region of Transylvania. They are well loved at festive times of the year in particular Christmas and Easter. Perfect served with a warm glass of milk and a dollop of plum butter!
