Quince have long been cherished in Romanian kitchens, prized for their heady fragrance and delicate, floral-sweet taste. Though very tart to eat raw, once slowly cooked this fruit transforms into something magical: tender, golden pink pieces that release their perfume into a luscious syrup. This quince jam captures that beautifully, offering a jar full of autumn's warmth and aroma.

Made with only two ingredients, quince and sugar, absolutely no artificial preservatives or flavourings, it preserves the authentic taste of this heirloom fruit in its purest form. Spread it over fresh bread, pair it with cheese, or enjoy it as a sweet treat straight from the jar - each spoonful is fragrant, elegant and comforting. 

Behind the jar is Lădița Verde, a small family producer from the village of Macea in Arad county, where fruits and vegetables are grown with care and turned into delicious preserves. Every jam is made by hand in small batches, capturing simple honest flavours.
