Made from ripe, juice pears cooked slowly with sugar, this pear jam captures the sweetness and floral aroma of autumn orchards. Smooth and elegant, with a naturally mellow flavour, it is one of the most comforting and versatile preserves for those who love a less tangy, delicate jam.
Prepared in small batches using just two ingredients, pears and sugar, absolutely no artificial preservatives or flavourings, it celebrates the fruit in its purest form. Spread it on warm toast, spoon it over pancakes or porridge, or pair it with soft cheeses for a simple treat.
Behind every jar is Lădița Verde, a small family producer from the village of Macea in Arad county, where fruits are grown with care and transformed into preserves using recipes passed through generations. Every batch is handmade, capturing the honest flavours of traditional Romanian cooking.
