Pickled Mushrooms with Garlic 370g

Description

These deliciously tangy, pickled pleurotus mushrooms are the perfect accompaniment to a grilled steak, toasted cheese sandwich or barbecued fish. Bursting with flavour, they are fresh and firm, slightly sweet and slightly spicy with a hint of earthiness.

Traditionally in Romania, when the Autumn begins jars & barrels are filled with peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, cabbage, grapes, watermelon, green tomatoes and many more. These delights are pickled or fermented for the harsh winter months. The colourful jars that line the shelves of pantries become delicious accompaniments to everyday meals.
