Description
This natural, Romanian quince jam is made with absolutely no added sugar - only quince, apple juice and a touch of cardamom! 100% natural & free from additives & preservatives. Prepared in the traditional way - in a cauldron like pan over a wood fire, by hand.
The curious and often forgotten fruit quince makes this fragrant, slightly floral, sweet jam with a beautiful golden pink colour. It is delicious served simply on toast or paired with cold meats (especially game meats) & cheeses - in particular a marbled blue cheese such as Roquefort or a hard ages sheeps cheese such as Manchego.
