Superbly sweet & slightly tart this syrup made from treasured wild lingonberries, known as mountain cranberries in Romania is a delight. With a similar taste to the regular cranberry but slightly sweeter this syrup can create the most delicious lemonade. Made by cold maceration to ensure that all the benefits of these magnificent fruits are preserved.
Lingonberries have a long history of use in traditional medicine, they are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. This syrup can act against infections and free radicals, helps to strengthen the bone system and support the cardiovascular and urinary systems.
The medicinal plants and fruits that are used as ingredients for the products made by Măgură Monastery are collected from the spontaneous flora of the surroundings of the monastery, in the area of the Cindrel Mountains or are grown in the monastery's herb garden. The entire process, from picking, drying, shredding, preparation, packaging and labelling, is done by hand. Their recipes are their own and are based on old traditional and monastic remedies. The preparation processes aim to preserve the natural properties of the plants and fruits used.
Shake well before use. Recommended dilution is 1:5.
